Reykjavík Roasters reserves the right not to process orders for any reason (for instance if a product is sold out) as well as to change prices and range of products at any given time. In that case the customer will either be reimbursed or he will have the possibility to choose a different product.
About the retailer.
The retailer is Kaffismiðja Íslands ehf., social security number 500708-0690, located in Kárastigur 1, 101 Reykjavík, and Brautarholt 2, 105 Reykjavík. We roast and sell coffee, brewing equipment and a range of products that any coffee aficionado might require. Furthermore, we provide advice on everything that concerns coffee, the roasting process or anything that relates to the coffee industry.
Our Freshness Promise.
The coffee you buy from our online shop is between 4 to 14 days old. It’s best to consume it within four weeks from its roasting date.
The customers have no longer than 7 days to cancel their order, provided that the product hasn’t been opened or used and that the product is returned in good conditions and its original package; that the receipt is returned as well. Said countdown begins once the product is delivered to the registered recipient.
The product is then fully refunded within 14 days after it’s been returned but only if the above conditions are met. Sending a product back is the responsibility of the customers, who are also in charge of the cost, unless they received either the wrong product or a damaged one.
All prices in the online store are in Icelandic crowns and they include VAT. Prices are published with a disclaimer about possible typos. The prices can also change at any time without any notice, for instance because of wrong price indications or incorrect information, in accordance to the provisions above.
The retailer uses a safe payment system from Valitor. It is possible to pay with any credit card from all the main credit card companies, or via bank transfer. Once the payment has been received, the customer receives an email or sms to confirm the order has gone through.
Sold goods are the property of the retailer until the customer has fully completed his or her purchase.
The retailer respects the confidentiality of all customer’s information which have been provided during the transaction.
Laws that apply to this Terms are the following: provisions on distance and online sales nr. 96/1992, provisions on online purchases nr. 50/2000, and provisions on customer purchases nr. 48/2003, as applicable. The countdown on all the deadlines mentioned in the law nr. 96/1992 begins when the products have been received.

This agreement is in accordance with Icelandic law. Any court case against it shall be brought forward to the District Court of Reykjavík. These terms are valid from 01.04.2017. For more information please contact us at email@example.com : we will answer as soon as we can.
We send all products purchased on our online shop two business days after the purchase is completed. If the customer wants the coffee to be shipped already ground we recommend them to let us know how they intend to brew the coffee (fill in the “comments” section before you complete your purchase) so that we can adjust the grinder’s setting accordingly.
Shipping costs are waived on orders of 8.000kr or more. In any other case the sending costs within Iceland will be of 990kr regardless of postal code.
Orders that are shipped to foreign countries do not include VAT. Shipping costs are added to the total price before the payment is made. Products are shipped via airmail and shipping costs are as following:
Nordic Countries: 3800 kr;
Europe (excluding Russia): 3800 kr;
North America: 3800 kr;
Central & South America: 4800 kr;
Africa & Middle East: 4800 kr;
Asia & Russia: 4800 kr;
Oceania: 5200 kr.
