ÁSMUNDARSALUR
The third café opened in late September 2018 at Freyjugata. Creative arts and coffee consumption have for a long time held hand in hand, and for that reason we think it´s fitting to brew coffee for all art lovers arriving in Ásmundarsalur on Freyjugata 41. Our café is located in the seating lounge on the first floor, there it´s possible to browse through art books and magazines about art spaning over many decades, while enjoying our quality coffee. We are proud to let our sweet coffee aroma fill this historical house.

KÁRASTÍGUR
Our café in Kárastígur originally opened its doors at the end of 2008 under the name of Kaffismiðja Íslands. In 2013 however, it underwent renovations and its name was changed to Reykjavík Roasters. The building has been in place since 1929 but before housing our café it used to be a small, typical convenience store on one side and a milk shop on the other, where it was possible to buy skyr and milk in bulk as it was customary in those days.

BRAUTARHOLT
Our second café opened in August 2015 in Brautarholt 2, where Japis and then Rín’s musical instrument store was once located. Here we set up a brew bar where we ambitiously serve an ever-changing variety of coffees and teas which we hand-brew fresh for every order. With our focus being on our pour-overs and teas, we aim to enhance the customer experience by creating the perfect cafe atmosphere, from the time you enter to the last drop in your cup. We further this experience with our wider food menu, and by giving our customers access to the Roots Of Your Coffee poster, a mural that aims to give the customer the correct words to describe their coffee.
